PT Bio Farma (Persero) - Bio Farma is a leading state-owned company in Indonesia, running business in pharmaceutical industry. Domiciled in Bandung West Java, Bio Farma has core business competencies in the vaccine and antisera industry. Bio Farma operates primarily as a producers of vaccine and antisera. Bio Farma engaged in research and development, production, marketing of biological and pharmaceutical products as well as medical devices. PT Bio Farma (Persero) is a non listed state-owned company and is fully-owned by the Government of Indonesia which represented by the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE). Bio Farma was first established in 1890 as a Dutch Indies pharmaceutical company named Parc Vaccinogene. After several changes of name, the name of PT Bio Farma (Persero) officially launched in 1997 under the  Government Regulation No 1 of 1997. Bio Farma now has 1 production support office, 1 representative office Jakarta and 63 marketing service office spread all over Indonesia. Bio Farma's head office is located at Jl Pasteur No 28 Bandung.

In terms of financial positions, Bio Farma managed to record total net sales of Rp 3,011.57 billion in 2017. This total net sales equivalent with a 30.5% increase as compared with Rp 2,315.75 billion in the end of 2016, according to information found in PT Bio Farma (Persero) Annual Report 2017 as cited by JobsCDC.com. Referring to its annual report, Bio Farma's net profit in 2017 amounted to Rp 525.35 billion. This number is increased by 4.85% compared to the year 2016 amounted to Rp 501.04 billion.
