PT Astra International Tbk - Astra International (IDX : ASII) more popularly called "Astra Group" is a large and solid diversified conglomerates in Indonesia, based in Jakarta. Together with its 208 subsidiary companies/joint ventures/associates, Astra Group has its business activities focused in 7 business categories; automotive, financial services, heavy equipment and mining, agribusiness, infrastructure and logistics, information technology, and property. PT Astra International Tbk is majority owned by Jardine Cycle & Carriage of Singapore (JC&C) which in turn is majority owned by the Jardine Matheson Group. Astra Group’s total revenue in 2016 was down 1.68% at Rp 181.08 trillion as compared with Rp 184.19 trillion in 2015. Astra Group reported total assets of Rp 261.85 trillion in 2016 or an increase of 6.69% from assets grew from Rp 245.43 trillion in 2015.
