The Company engaged in general banking industry with strong business focus on mortgage loans segments. The Company was formed in 1897 during the Dutch Colonial era and initially registered as Postspaarbank. In 1950, the Company renamed into Bank Tabungan Pos and the name of Bank Tabungan Negara officially launched in 1966. In 2009, the Company was listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) conducted its initial public offering (IPO) under stock code BBTN. As of 30 June 2016, PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk is 60% owned by the Government of Indonesia and 40% by general publics. Headquartered in Jakarta, Bank BTN now has 65 branch offices spread in all over Indonesia.

In term of financial positions, the Bank reached significant performance in the first half of 2016 (1H 2016, ended in 30 June 2016). According to PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk Q2 2016 financial report as cited by JobsCDC.com, the Bank booked total assets of Rp 189,513.35 in 1H 2016. This reflected an 10.30% increase from Rp 171,807.59 billion the same period of last year (1H 2015).

• Does not have any family relationship with an employee of Bank BTN (father / mother / child / brother / sister).
